Professional Interests / Specialties:
A developmental model guides my assessment and intervention.  I appreciate working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families with mild to moderate/severe problems in living. With all clients, the ability to manage uncomfortable thoughts and feelings in order to get through difficult life passages is the major goal.  To facilitate this, I create a calm, safe space.  I offer clarity and empathy toward development of a trusting therapeutic relationship. I bring the awareness that positive emotions can co-exist with negative ones.  Even in desperate times, there is room for joy and humor.
